Where did you go to school?
I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. Joseph's University. I have also received the following degrees: M.A. Chemistry from Temple University M.S. Environmental Protection and Safety Management from the Haub School of Business at St. Joseph's University M.Div. with a concentration in Church and Community Leadership from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to spend time taking photographs, mostly of nature and wildlife. I enjoy walking, although the summertime humidity makes it less fun. On rare occasions I try to play golf. Other pastimes I enjoy are reading, cooking, and spending time with friends. I am looking forward to trying my hand at bowling with some friends.

What did you do before ministry?
I started my working career as a chemist, working for a company that made dental materials. It was there that I moved into the health and safety realm. I joined Tyco Healthcare (now Covidien) as a safety manager then as senior human resources representative. While at Tyco I started teaching in the Applied Aviations Sciences Department at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and eventually joined the university as their Occupational Safety and Environmental Management Director. A long time peer in the field recruited me to work for Paychex Business Solutions as a Safety Consultant. I left that position to go to seminary.
